Hi @KimDillon1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
HP Quick (sometimes listed as HP Quick Launch, HP QuickWeb, or hpquicker) was software HP included on older laptops for launching applications or accessing features quickly. If you’re not using it, it’s perfectly fine to remove — and I’ll guide you through the safe, accurate steps.
Option 1: Using Windows Settings
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Apps → Installed apps (or Apps & features).
- In the search box, type hpquicker or HP Quick.
- If it appears in the list:
- Click on it.
- Select Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts to remove it.
Option 2: Use Control Panel (if it doesn’t show in Settings)
- Press Windows + R, type appwiz.cpl, and press Enter.
- Scroll through the list for anything named HP quicker, HP Quick Launch, or similar.
- Right-click it → Uninstall.
Option 3: Remove from Startup (if it still tries to run)
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
- Go to the Startup tab.
- Look for HP quicker or anything HP-related you don’t need.
- Right-click it → Disable.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
