Hi,

New laptop, same bloatware.

I'd appreciate a method of removing these unwanted, not requested and unwelcome intruders from my laptop.

Constructive information gratefully received.

Thanks in anticipation

Many thanks Venom21

Some of the menus are different but got there eventually.
Also, two of the ‘reminders’ were nagware so removed these from shortcuts and all seems to be quiet.

Thanks again

Follow these steps to remove them:

A. Uninstall via Windows Settings
This removes most obvious apps such as Adobe Reader offers, trialware, or HP partner apps.

Steps:
1. Press `Win + I` → go to Apps → Apps & features.
2. In the search box, type:
- `Adobe`
- `HP`
- `McAfee`, `Norton`, `Prime`, `Offer`, etc. ( which you want to uninstall)
3. Click any unwanted app → Uninstall → confirm.
4. Repeat for:
- Any “Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (offer)” or trial versions.
- HP “Your Store Offer”, “Experience Center”, or similar “partner” apps.

B. Remove components via Apps & Features and “Uninstall a program”
Some Adobe/HP entries only show up in the classic Control Panel list.

Steps:
1. Open Start → type `Add or remove programs` → open it.
2. Look for:
- `Adobe Acrobat Reader DC`
- `Adobe Creative Cloud`, `Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (VAL)`, `Adobe Photoshop Express`, etc.
3. Select each unwanted entry → Uninstall.
4. If “Uninstall” is grayed out or fails, note the name and proceed to the next section.

C. Use Adobe’s own cleaner (if needed)
If Adobe refuses to uninstall normally, use Adobe’s official Cleaner Tool (Creative Cloud Cleaner). Visit their website for that.

Steps:
1. Download the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool from Adobe’s official site.
2. Run it as administrator.
3. Choose the Adobe product you want to remove (e.g., Reader, Creative Cloud).
4. Follow the on‑screen prompts to completely remove it.

This is Adobe’s own method for “stubborn” installations and is recommended instead of manual registry deletion.
