Remove Spy Hunter from my Laptop.

I downloaded something called SpyHunter for a "free trial." Well, in order to get my "free trial" I had to enter a credit card number. I don't have a credit card. I don't want a credit card, Now I can't remove the SpyHunter download. How do I ger rid of it for good?

Apparently you are not alone. That seems to be a challenge. Rather than giving instructions on here, try using your favorite search engine (Google or whatever) to see what others have found to work. There are several YouTube videos, if you like that type of help.

I feel like I asked my father a question and he said "go ask your mother." We all know how frustrating that can be.

The reason I answered in that manner is because it is a long and troublesome removal process. Many do not get satisfactory results on the first try, or at all. I can link you to a guide or a YouTube video, if you like, but it is a too long of a process to write out the instructions. AND I have not had to do the process myself, so I am just copying someone else's process.

In order to skip all of that, and/or at last resort, you can always use the HP Recovery Tool to reinstall the PC back to the original factory state, if your model is covered. Since you did not mention the model number or the Windows version
