There was a question on how to clean a keyboard when something falls into it and the recommendation was not to remove them BUT what happens if it is NOT crumbs but something else - LIKE YOGURT?
I spilled some in mine and it simply had to be removed and the keycaps had to come off. At first I got q-tips and a wet microcloth but both did not work to get below the keycaps.
I finally remembered I had an old NG Keycap puller and found out it works and I snapped the keycaps off cleaned around and inside and snapped it back on and NOTHING was damaged. The longer keycaps have a metal clip that needs to be hooked on the inside first and snap the key back on.
I was surprised that area looks like new now.

Hi @uckfut,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand yogurt has spilt on the keyboard and you’d like to clean it with a keycap puller.
Could you please check if the key still responds when pressed?
Kindly note, if the keycap puller causes any damage, it will be treated as physical damage.
