I had that link bookmarked.

 

Here is a fresh W8.1 download link and it works fine for me.

 

Download Windows 8.1 Disc Image (ISO File) (microsoft.com)

 

It would be a lot easier for you to just make the W10 installation media.

When I installed the recovery disc 6. It didn't pass through 100%. Then it would restart and give me a light blue screen, with a prompt. The prompt was date and time that came up in a box. You can only select ok and then it would restart to give you the prompt again. Could that also be motherboard? I replaced the hard drive with another as well.

Yes, it would be a lot easier.

 

Go back and re-read my instructions about reinstalling W10.

 

You do not need a product key.
