I have a laptop that, according to gpu-z, supports resizable bar, and I just need to enable it in the BIOS! However, for some reason, I just cannot find the option anywhere in my BIOS! Can you help?

That’s not because something is wrong with your laptop. It’s the same on many laptops. These kinds of options are usually configurable on PCs, but for compatibility reasons, manufacturers especially on laptops may leave them off by default in hidden firmware settings. In most games, enabling it only provides around 0–5% improvement, or sometimes a barely noticeable change. There might also unofficial tricks online that may give access to more BIOS settings, but they are not safe and there is no guarantee they will work. They can make the system unstable or worse. So it’s better to accept the fact that you are on a laptop and that the option is not available. This ReBAR feature also has some downsides, and the performance gain is usually small. A few games may benefit a little more, but it’s not something to worry about too much. It’s not a big deal.
Sorry for the interruption. After seeing the confusion here, I thought I should reply and clear it up. TPM 2.0 is a security feature, while ReBAR is a performance feature for some games and GPUs. ReBAR usually gives a small to moderate FPS boost, and sometimes no gain or even a slight loss; it is not related to security. No game requires ReBAR to be enabled as a mandatory feature. Some games, like Call of Duty, may require TPM 2.0 for the system or anti-cheat setup, but ReBAR is optional and only helps performance in some cases.

You will have to wait for a BIOS update. You may have a long wait. Recently, hackers have released a new cheat trick and an update to TPM needs to be done to allow COD and other games to play. HP is working on that problem. It is a priority as games cannot run anymore.
