HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there!

I have a HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw0xxx product number 3PX72LA#ABM and strangely the battery is not lasting more than 30 minutes. Laptop is less than a year and battery test results are OK. (it used to last about 2.5 hours)

I have an M.2 and an SSD as storage devices. No external devices are connected while using it in battery mode.

I believe something is changed in the power management and would like to restore power settings/battery setting to factory defaults. Or perhaps I remember an HP utility with "recommended power settings" (is it still available??)

So, how can i reset power/battery values to factory defaults?

Thanks,

@ErickP

Please try

(a) Right click the battery icon and select Power Options,

(b) Select HP Recommended

Hope this helps

Regards.
