I have had my laptop for a little over a month, and I was just curious if there was a way that I could return it. There's nothing wrong with it. I was maybe wondering if it would be possible to trade it in for a desktop. I bought it on hp.com and it is still under the standard 1 year warranty. (it is a customized hp laptop if that helps any)

Hi,
Each country has different comsumer protection laws but in general, during warranty period, users can return FAULTY goods (not accidental damages) and get money back or a replacement. For many goods, there are few clauses to protect vendors and vendors only accept to repair, not return.
In your case, you may need to talk directly with the place where you bought the machine and hope they can work this out for you.
Regards.

How stupid can a company be. I ordered a printer because HP said they couldn’t fix my problem – it would print. They said I had to buy a new printer which I did. The next day I found out why they couldn’t fix the problem. They forgot to set the default printer. When I did that it prints. I called to cancel the order but they said I couldn’t without a tracking number. They have shipped it and given me a return number. So now HP will have two shipping costs.

After installing Windows 10, my M400 printer failed to print. After reaching a technical agent I was advised to purchase a M477 printer, which I did. Since my existing printer had worked fine, I engaged an IT technician from my university who was able to correct the problem which was a software problem. the HP agent did not diagnose the problem correctly and the new printer was not needed and would not have worked because the problem was not with my old printer.
How do I return the new, unopened M477 printer and have my purchase refunded?:
