Solved: Run Microsoft Office on a probook - HP Support Community

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a refurbished HP Probook 430 G2 (running Windows 10) for work - I mainly need one to create spreadsheets and word docs. Is this Probook capable of running Microsoft Office (home or professional)?

The used models come with either Win7 or Win8.1 preloaded -- either of which will run MS Office with ease.

However, nowadays, it is becoming increasingly hard to find anything other than Office 365 -- as Microsoft has discontinued many of the older products and doesn't even want to sell Office 2019.

So, you're probably going to be stuck with a suscription-based Office 365 version.
