Hi there,
I just upgraded my original/official windows 7 home premium on my HP G62 model laptop to window 10.
The SCROLLING TOUCHPAD STOPPED WORKING. 😠
when I try to down load the synaptic driver from HP site, when I choose the (windows) operating system, BUT in ( version option) only gives you choice of windows 7, 32bit ,windows 64bit and windows XP 32 bit.
there is not version for windows 10.
however, I down loaded the synaptic driver for windows 7 - 32bit , but does not work..
Has any body had the same problem that I had ? and what is the solution ?
Thanks to you all

Hi @ASJ123
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
According to the HP support site, this PC does not have drivers available for WIn 10 OS. Let us try these steps:
Check for any pending Windows update. Once done, restart the PC.
Go to Device manager > Mice and other pointing devices > Select your touchpad > Right-click on your touchpad and click Uninstall.
Restart the PC to automatically install the driver.
If the issue persists, perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve touchpad issues on a Win 10 PC.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
