Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue with the SSD in my company HP Elitebook 640 G9 laptop (WIN11).

Other colleagues have a Samsung PM9A1 512GB model while I have an SK hynix PC801 512GB.

Unfortunately, while the read speed are adequate, the write speed are insufficient as shown in the screenshot (I made several tests):

I've read that the OEM PC801 model is equivalent to the retail P41 model, for which SK hynix released a firmware update in recent weeks (available on their official website), and several users have resolved the write speed issue with it.

In the support section for my 640 G9 model, I noticed there are updates for Samsung and Western Digital SSDs, but nothing for SK hynix SSDs.

Will an update be released for this drive as well?

Thank you

I noticed I posted in the wrong section, I should have used 'Notebook Hardware & Upgrade' or 'Business Notebooks'.
Is it possible to move it?

Thank you
