Hi,
I just purchased a new Spectre x360 2 days ago. I did a fresh installation of Win 10 Anniversary Edition last night. I installed all the drivers from HP support site and everything runs perfectly. But in HP Support Assistant, when I run Storage check, it shows SMART status as Unknown for my SSD drive. Is it normal or something is wrong?
Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Bob418,
Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Forums,
I see you have a question regarding the SMART status of an SSD in HP Support Assistant. I will be glad to help.
SMART check is applicable to the older conventional HDD and is not accurate for SSDs. I would ignore the message you see in HP Support Assistant or you can try reinstalling HPSA to eliminate the error.

Thanks for your answer which alleviate my concern. I reinstalled HP Support Assistant but it still shows "Unknown" status. However, I installed CrystalDiskInfo. It reports my SSD Health Status "Good 100%". I'm happy to see that.
