Trying to upgrade my Bios from L86 ver 01.02 to ver 01.41.Rev A

I downloaded the BIOS update files found at:

https://support.hp.com/ph-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-revolve-810-g2-tablet/6617053

I downloaded the SP87485 appilcation file. When I clicked on it, it extracted the files and then failed with a dialog message of "Error executing the speficied progeram: Firmwareupdate.exe" when I exited that dialog, another error dialog was behind that which read, "Unable to execute the specified command line"

I also tried going into the unzipped directory C:\SWSetup\SP87485 and running the Installer application. It responded by offering me the choice of install to EFI hard drive partiation or USB. I chose USB. That also failed.

I chose the USB option when I ran the installer. The USB was freshly formatted for FAT32 and had 14G of space available. I've also tried different USB drives after the first several attempts failed. I also tried reformatting the USB drive after each failure and also tried formatting the USB to NTFS and FAT(Default).

Installing to an EFI hard drive partition is really not preferable (I'm on my own on this one and haven't a clue how to do that).

Suggestions on how to resolve this issue so I can upgrade my BIOS would be appreciated.

Was never able to resolve the bootable USB install option. However, I was able to boot into BIOS and updated via a networked connection. So, my need for a BIOS update is solved.

I am curious why the instructions to run the downloaded file from the HP Support site would not work.
