Hi Everyone,

I have an HP 17-cn0524sa laptop that does not see the ssd when installing Windows 11 clean install.

The BIOS sees the drive so i know it is there!

I have downloaded 10's of drivers, none of which allow the ssd to be seen during the installation.

Does anyone have the link to the correct driver please.

@Cateram-90,

 

Since your notebook has an Intel Core 11th gen processor and Optane memory, the Windows installer needs Intel RST storage drivers to detect the drive to install W11 on. 

 

Please follow the instructions in the post below for the IRST driver installation.
