First of all I will state the following:
The files I need are NOT Available in the software and downloads section of my printer so please do not tell me thats where I need to go. the files I need were never on that part of the site and were always on the HP ftp server!
I have a Samsung ProXpress SL-M4580. The Hard Drive crashed and I need the 3 or 4 files to put on a usb drive so the printer will reformat the drive. The recovery instruction clearly state to go to the following FTP Server:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/HDD-UI-Recovery
however when I try to open that link in a ftp client it asks for a login which the provided documentation does not provide.
