Also having the same issue since upgrading to MacOS 13 -- scanning pages with Easy Scan saving as blank PDF. I submitted a case to HP letting them know that I used the printer service menu to perform partial and full resets - no luck. Also updated to the latest printer firmware - no luck. I believe HP needs to provide a bug fix/ new version of Easy Scan, and I indicated this in my case, but they closed the case (blew me off) and referred me to the support sites. I do not believe we will get a fix unless they provide an Easy Scan update.
