For some reason I can't post the photo internally, so I'll have to link to it here.
Green pixel-like boxes cover about 40% of the screen at times. It goes away when I switch between tabs. This has been happening since the day I took the laptop out of the box.

Check if the issue persists in BIOS page.
Follow the below steps to boot into BIOS page.
1. Turn on or restart the computer.
2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.
If the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue.
If not, Update the BIOS and the Graphics driver using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-notebook---15-db0048ca/24896799
Restart the notebook.
