Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 22631.2861
Seagate 4Tb USB drive won't mount, but larger capacity Seagate USB drives do.
When the 4Tb drive is plugged into USB,
* Drive spins up.
* Device Manager shows "Seagate Backup+ Desk SCSI Disk Device", and events
Device configured (disk Inf) and Device started(disk)..
* "Open Devices and Printers" shows "Eject Backup+ Desk" option.
But
* Drive/File System doesn't show in in File Explorer.
* Disk Management shows this disk as unallocated space.
This 4Tb drive works properly with Linux (booted from USB on this same HP laptop)
and Win7 and Win10 systems. Drive is known formatted with NTFS.
Mounting problem was noted with this disk on this laptop with Win11 as reinstalled from Win 10
recovery partition and automatically updated, and now Win11 as reinstalled from
"Win 11 Media creation" USB drive.
