Hi @marlamar7,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing an issue where your HP Chromebook 14a is displaying a message stating that the browser is not supported for a Securus video visit, there are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Update your Chromebook: Make sure that your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS. To do this, click on the system tray in the bottom-right corner of the screen, then click on the gear icon to open the Settings menu. From there, go to "About Chrome OS" and click on "Check for updates." If an update is available, let it install and restart your Chromebook.
- Clear browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, cached data or cookies can cause issues with websites. Go to the Chrome browser settings by clicking on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then selecting "Settings." Scroll down and click on "Privacy and security" in the left-hand menu. Under the "Privacy and security" section, click on "Clear browsing data." Make sure to select the options for clearing cache and cookies, then click "Clear data."
- Try a different browser: If the issue persists, try accessing the Securus video visit using a different browser. Chrome OS supports other browsers like Firefox and Microsoft Edge, which you can install from the Chrome Web Store. Install one of these browsers and see if you can access the Securus video visit using it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
