I bought a laptop about a month ago. It has sharp edges and cuts into my palm. Both my palm are brused. I'm somewhat fed up. I don't think at this atage I can return it, brsides I like the laptop apart from the design. I don't know why HP still have this design despite complaints from people. Can someone, especially HP suggest what I could do? I heard you can get laptop cushions; how much are they and would they fit this particular laptop? As it's still under the guarentee, is HP prepared to reimburse the money if I purchase any item to remedy the problem. I'm not sure if HP would reply to my message other than the general public. If they don't, how can I bring it to the attention of HP. Thank you.

The "return policy" depends on the vendor -- for example, (at least some) HP products purchased in the USA from the HP online store provide a 30 day return.
IF the condition you describe is a defect of manufacturing - that means, the item is not built to specification, then HP can help.
Understand that built-to-specification might be different than your interpretation of the situation. That does not mean "everything is OK" -- that means that our community forum does not make decisions of this type.
If you think your product is indeed defective, submit a case to HP Technical Support in your region.
Use the product's serial number to submit the case to HP (do NOT post that information here). Explain the issue in simple terms and ask for help.
