Have not gotten anything on this issue via this channel yet... making me regret giving up my Lenovo T14 now.... annoying!!

The Elitebook 640 G11's keyboard layout is a nightmare.

Shift+HOME is not working, it should be fixed by a firmware update ASAP,

but it is also impossible to press Shift+Printscreen, which is imho impossible to fix. (as the print screen is fn+right shift and the left shift also has an fn function)

home and end should have been fn+arrow and the print screen could be on FN+End.  And no FN function for the right shift, (this makes impossible to use any shift+fnkey combination)

I tried to like this notebook but I can't get used to it's layout. And I really HATE it now 😞

I am happy to report that after applying the latest system update dubbed "HP - System Hardware Update - 4/14/2025" in Windows Updates, this issue has been resolved. Good job HP!

The update also seems to have changed the key combination for greater than symbol (>), at least on my Nordic keyboard.

I still have not figured out how to input that symbol 😞

Still no luck for me.... Home button fine on its own, but Shft+Home or Ctrl+Shft+Home ends up triggering F12 functions within whichever app I'm in... ????? Keyboard is set to 'US QUERTY'
