HP Spectre x360 - 15t-df100 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am asking for advice from the community based on other people's experience updating their OS from Windows 10, 64-bit to Windows 11.  HP's 'software detect' functionality says my laptop is capable of updating to Win11, but that's no guarantee the new OS will work smoothly.  I just recently had to reinstall Win10 due to a faulty Windows update, so I'm a little paranoid about updating to Win11.

I have listed all the relevant information I can think of to help someone advise me about updating (see below).  I have what I consider advanced layman skills working with device/OS updates, upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.  I'm fairly sure I can reverse a Win11 update, but I'd rather not even start down that road if my laptop is going to struggle running Win11 under moderate load.  I appreciate any advice you can offer.  Thanks!

Sooner or later you HAVE to, Microsoft will force users to upgrade for machines with supported hardware including yours. Why not upgrading it now ?

Regards.
