Hp envy x360 m6
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello, the screen on my envy just shows the background wallpaper with the cursor on it. The option to sign into my profile doesn’t show up nor do any of the power options. I tried to factory reset it without removing the battery (because I don’t have the right screwdriver) and was unable to figure it out for my specific Envy model.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Was there any update?

Let's do a reset and restore:

1) Reset:

1) Shutdown the computer.

2) Unplug all the Adapter and peripherals connected.

3) Press and hold down the power button for 20 seconds.

4) Plug-in the Adapter.

5) Try to turn on the computer.

2) Restore:

1) Turn off the computer.

2) Turn on the computer and repeatedly press the F11 key, about once every second, until you see the Windows loading screen.

3) If a language selection screen opens, select the language you want to use to continue. On the Choose your keyboard layout screen, select the keyboard layout that matches your keyboard type.

4) On the Choose an option screen, click Troubleshoot.

5) On the Troubleshoot screen, click Advanced Options.

6) On the Advanced options screen, click System Restore.

7) Click Windows 8, click Windows 8.1, or click Windows 10 as the target operating system.

😎 Click Next.

9) Click the Restore Point that you want to use, and then click Next. And then click Finish.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
