Silent install switch for HP Support Assistant

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Guys,


When HP Support Assistant is being deployed through Intune, I get the following error in the portal;

The user cancelled the app installation. (0x80070642)


Does anyone know why this would be happening. The users aren't even being prompted to install the application - therefore they have no way of cancelling the installation. 


I have tried searching for this and most of the results indicated that there is a problem with the silent install switch. I am using the following switch in the install command  "sp79243 (1).exe" /s


I have guessed this switch since I wasn't able to find any official documentation on silent install switch from HP. TIA for your advise.
