Hi, I'm Sakib. I bought HP firefly zbook 14 g8 a few days ago.
I tried to use my SIM card on it. I put the sim on the sim tray correctly and inserted but nothing showed up. I opened the device manager>software components> searching for Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G WWAN Driver. I didn't find the option there but there was HP LAN/WLAN/WWAN Switching and hotkey services. I downloaded the modem's driver from hp's official website, there my device automatically detected by hp support app installed on my laptop. I tried to install, the installation occurs for a few seconds and a cmd opens up. there shows 'info excute {the location where setup files are extracted} install.cmd'. This cmd window stays for a few seconds then automatically closes. I restarted my pc. Still my sim doesn't work. Some screenshots are attached. if You need more tell me
Windows 11 23h2 is running
I have to use my sim as my wifi is not good... I need help

Hi:
Most likely your notebook is one of the 90+% that doesn't come with the optional and expensive WWAN option which is why you can't connect to a cellular network.
100% of the zBook 14 g8's come with a SIM card tray.
If there is no WWAN adapter listed under the Network adapters device manager category, your notebook cannot connect to the cellular service.
