Hello,
I've owned a HP stream for just over a year and I've always been able to (when shutting it down) just press the windows button on the keyboard and then press the power icon and choose between shut down, sleep and restart. But now all of a sudden when I do this I only have the shutdown and restart buttons left. So I can't sleep the computer.
I have been into settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings. But the sleep option isn't there either.
How do I get this option back?
Thank you!

@Nemo99 Welcome to HP Community!
Solution 1: Check Power options settings
- Right click Start
- Select Power Options
- Select Choose what the Power buttons do
- Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
- Go to Shutdown settings
- Find Sleep and tick the box to Show in Power men
- Click Save changes
- Restart your computer and check if sleep option is restored.
Solution 2: Check Chipset drivers: click here to find and install the same
Solution 3: Check which sleep states are available
- Click Start
- Type cmd in the search box
- Right click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator
- Click Yes to confirm
- At the prompt, type powercfg –a
- Press Enter. The available sleep states available will be displayed.
Keep me posted, as I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,
And your device is up and running again, only in case you don't get back to us, first!

Good Luck.
