I have a CalcPad 200 and attempted to use it on my HP laptop, but I need software and or drivers for the device. Does anyone have the software to share...or has a link to download it. This device is probably 9 years old...nothing on the HP support site that I can find. Appreciate any help.
Tnx, dondd

The user guide reveals that the drivers were on an external web site that is no longer under the control of HP. The site is on archive.org but the download links do not work. The drivers might not be much use on a modern laptop if you can find a copy, as the manual suggests the last supported operating system was Windows XP. The drivers may well work on more recent 32 bit operating systems, but I doubt they will work on a 64 bit operating system.
If built today, the basic numpad functionality of the device would use standard the HID keyboard protocol and work without additional drivers, but this sort of approach was less common in the early days of USB. Sadly, though it looks like nice hardware, there may well be nothing you can do to get it working properly with a modern operating system - at least not unless you are prepared to write new drivers and/or new firmware (if the thing even has installable firmware).

Many thanks David, you saved me a lot of time trying to get this to work. I didn't realize it was made so long ago a is only compatible with 32bit OS's as "new" as XP!! I appreciate your very comprehensive response.
