Hi @GlennMc777,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It looks like you're encountering an issue where the installation process for your OMEN software is trying to access a temporary file path that no longer exists or is unavailable. This error often happens when the installer is looking for files or a source location that isn't accessible.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue.

Delete Temporary Files:

  • Navigate to C:\Users\Glenn\AppData\Local\Temp\ and delete the contents of the Temp folder. This will remove any corrupted or outdated temporary files that might be causing the issue.

Re-download the Software:

  • Download the latest version of the OMEN software from the official HP website. Ensure you're downloading it from a reliable source.

Run the Installer as Administrator:

  • Right-click on the installer file and select "Run as administrator." This can help bypass certain permission issues.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Ensure that your Windows 11 is up to date by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

Use the HP Support Assistant:

  • Open HP Support Assistant and check if it can help you with the installation or update of the OMEN software. It may have a tool or update for your OMEN laptop.

Reinstall the Software:

  • If you have an existing installation of the software, try uninstalling it completely before attempting a fresh installation.

Check the Installation Source:

  • The error message mentions the installation source being unavailable. Ensure that the path mentioned in the error is not set as the source for the installation files. If it is, you might need to correct this path or change the source location in the installer settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
