Hello again thanks a lot for all your help much appreciated. I thought I sent the information to you. I discovered under the PCI events that this driver was deleted on 4/25/2025 and I copied the driver's information as follows:

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_OF18&SUBSYS_21DE103C&REV_OE\3&11583659&0&DO

Can we get this back?

All you need to do is to copy and paste the hardware ID's from the device manager report:

Like I just did with my Wi-Fi adapter hardware ID:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2723&SUBSYS_008C8086&REV_1A
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2723&SUBSYS_008C8086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2723&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2723&CC_0280

Maybe I am too tired sorry do you mind walking me through this. ? I am not familiar with these steps

HP Recommended

Sure.

Go to the device manager.

Click on the PCI E/D controller needing the driver.

Click on the Details tab at the top of the device manager window.

In the 'Property' drop down list when that window opens, drop down on it and select Hardware ID's and copy and paste the 4 lines of hardware IDs that show up in the 'Value' Window below that line.

Thanks again for the detailed instructions I did everything except when it came to the part of the hardware value I found all the PCI hardware listed and I could do the last step of cut and paste? I selected the first three as you indicated and then when I go the the last line to paste is not doing anything. Please be patience with me I am a 77 years old lady.

The main question is so I copy the four lines where do I paste it to? Thanks
