See if this driver works:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp66501-67000/sp66601.exe

The driver setup information file shows driver support for the hardware ID you posted:

[Intel.ntamd64.6.1]
; DisplayName Section DeviceId
%TEE_DeviceDesc%=TEE_DDI_x64, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F18

Thanks again for all your help it looks to work. I don't see any warning lights however, when I selected device manager I did not see anything under PCI encryption/.....  maybe it would show after I restart the computer,

You're very welcome.

You don't want to see that device.

Under the System devices category you want to see an Intel Trusted Execution device which is what the driver installed.

Thanks again for all your help and most importantly for your patience . If you can walk a 77 year old  trough  all the steps needed to reinstall a missing PCI Encryption/Decryption controller  you can do and handle anything. There's a lesson to be learned here; we need to be proactive by continually checking our devices making sure that we have all the tools/software needed in  our personal computers  especially now with all these software breaches, hackers etc. that we are subjected to.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.
