Spectre 360-15

I purchased an HP Spectre USB-C Power Pack 20,100 mAh from HP and it came witha type C chord. There were no real instructions but I have spent hours on the phone (3 one day ond a bit over 1 another when the system hung up on me...) trying to speak witha knowledgeable person to help me. I had one agent help me return the first one and purchase a second one sent one overnight. I have had he unit plugged into my laptop for 8hours and when I press the indicator button, I see only one light lit which would indicate to me only a  25% charge. it never ghanges. My computer chimes when it is plugged or unplugged which seems to indicate some sort of recognition that is is plugged in or not. I do not believe it is charging but cannot get any support to help determine if this thing will work or not. I amnot sure if I need to plug in or get some other kind of adapptor to make this work.

 

I will be needing this on a series of 4 to10 hour flights where I will not be able to get AC power. 

 

Does anyone have any helpful information in this regard?

What is your Spectre 360-15 ? Are they compatible ? Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

My computer is an HP Spectre x360 convertible 15".

The product number is POA42AV.

The power pack should be the appropriate one since this is the one recommended to me by HP when I originally ordered it.
