I too have the same issue and would like the fix for this. I too have tried all the above steps that the original poster tried. And am on the same bios version and have checked battery status and everything and within 12 hours the battery drains 15%. Would like Sphinx fix email as well.

If the issue persists after performing all the troubleshooting steps, please contact HP Support for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
