I just bought a Refurbished HP 15-AN051DX and after i installed R2-D2 and Star Wars Command Center from the HP Drivers site both say "This system is not supported". Anyone know how to get them to work?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Star Wars Special Edition Notebook - 15-an051dx. I read that yu have installed the R2-D2 and Star Wars Command Center from the HP website and both give an error stating "This system is not supported."
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did any hardware changes take place on the laptop recently?
- Were you logged in as the administrator while installing the programs?
Meanwhile, I suggest you to uninstall the R2-D2 and Star Wars Command Center from your laptop. Please refer to the steps from this link to know how to uninstall programs in Windows 10.
Once the programs are uninstalled, you may download and install them from the below links:
NOTE: Please ensure you're logged in as the administrator.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know what happens. Cheers! 🙂

I just recently purchased the laptop from a Refurb Seller so I do not know if hardware was channged though it has the same size harddrive and stuff in it as advertised and it says it was Refurbished by the manufactuer and came in a HP box saying it had been refurbished with labels and numbers all over it. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the sofware but it still says the same thing about not being supported.

Hi,
You could perform a system recovery on the laptop to reload the factory image and if the R2-D2 and Star Wars Command Center programs came preinstalled, then they would be reinstalled too and start to work.
NOTE: Before performing a system recovery, I recommend you to backup you important data (if any) because all data get erased and the factory image of the Windows gets installed.
Please refer to the steps in this link to know how to perform a system recovery.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

Hello guys, I found solution for 'This system is not supported'. This fix launch error for Star Wars Command Center and R2-D2.
You need two files :
1. RStone.INI which located in C://HP/BIN/ - note that HP folder is hidden. So if you haven't this file and dir you must create HP folder in C:// and create BIN folder inside HP. Then you must create RStone.INI with this content :
[BIOS Strings] WallpaperFlag=04 SpecialEdition=1
2. Disney.flg - this file located in C://SYSTEM.SAV - folder also is hidden. So if you haven't this file just create it. This file doesn't have content.
Now you can launch programs.
Also you need contents for these programs which located in C://ProgramData/HP/SpecialEdition/ - folder is hidden. If you haven't this so you can find in internet archive with these files(I saw some guys has already posted link to these files in this forums) or ask somebody with hp star wars edition. I found link onedrive (put all folders from StarWarsSpecialEdition to your dir C://ProgramData/HP/SpecialEdition/ ) to these files in this forum but I don't test it(because I have my own) so use on your own risk or find it somewhere.
Bu the way if you want to make backup before install windows or new drive. May be it will be interesting for you that there are some extra content available in these dirs :
C://users/Public/Public Documents/Star Wars Libraries/
C://users/Public/Public Pictures/Star Wars Photo Galleries/
C://users/Public/Public Videos/Star Wars Photo Trailers/
You can find dependencies with OllyDbg If you have same problems with other hp soft after installation windows or something else.
