My notebook is a year old; however, I have never used it.
#1 Now it says I have to update the windows 10. I did. But it comes up with this "the driver is not supported on this OS version (10.0.16299)
#2 says 2.24GB free out of 27.8GB where did all the storage go?

Hi,
The best idea is to perform a clean install of the latest OS on the notebook. The low storage is going to keep being a problem with new updates. You could add an SD card permanently to have some extra storage for your files and move the Documents, Pictures, Music... Folders to the SD card storage.
Anyway take a look at these articles and see if helps.

David
