Stuck on "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete."

To whom it may concern,

i am having the same issue with a HP I just bought literally 2 weeks ago and it’s saying rebuilding disk errors may take over an hour...this computer is brand new and it shouldn’t be doing this. Any tips would be appreciated before I return this product and get my money back.

Unfortunately with new Win10 PCs, you get hit by Windows Update forcing updates on you almost immediately and recently, MS had problems with some of those updates that corrupted PCs in the process.

And, when it does that, it almost never recovers properly --leaving you with a nonfunctioning PC.

IF this were mine, rather than struggling with this problem, I would return it for a refund and get a different model PC to replace it.
