Until now, I've had a somewhat weak password on my HP account, and I am generally shifting into longer and stronger passwords. After having changed to a 48 character password on the HP website, I noticed that the login for the Support Assistant did not work. I started thinking maybe the password was too long, although it worked well on the website. Neither 32 characters length works, but 16 does. It would be nice if the Support Assistant program could be upgraded to harmonize with the passwords allowed on the website, or the website warn about passwords that will be too long for Support Assistant.

After some more testing, I find that a password length of 30 is ok with both, but above that, the Support Assistant will refuse to sign me in.
