Hi @edborek,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Check Compatibility:

Make sure that the version of HP Support Assistant you are trying to install is compatible with Windows 11.

2. Download Latest Version:

Ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of HP Support Assistant. You can find the latest version on the HP website: HP Support Assistant

3. Disable Antivirus/Firewall:

Sometimes, antivirus software or firewall settings can interfere with the extraction and installation of software. Try temporarily disabling them and attempt the installation again.

4. Run as Administrator:

Right-click on the downloaded file and select "Run as administrator" to ensure it has the necessary permissions to install.

5. Check for Corrupt Files:

The downloaded file might be corrupted. Try downloading the file again from the HP official website.

6. Update Windows:

Make sure your Windows 11 is up to date. Sometimes updates can fix underlying compatibility issues.

7. Free up Disk Space:

Ensure there is sufficient disk space available on your system to install HP Support Assistant.

8. Clear Temporary Files:

Clearing temporary files can resolve issues with file extraction. Use the Disk Cleanup utility in Windows to clear these files.

I hope this helps.
