Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0055cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Since upgrading to Windows 11 a couple of months ago my Synaptics fingerprint reader has become flaky, occasionally not responding to touch at all. When this happens, Device Manager reports the driver is having a problem. If I uninstall the device using Device Manager and reboot the system, the fingerprint reader works again for a week or so. Then I have to do the same thing. The driver is version 6.0.46.1111 dated 9/24/2020, which is the most recent driver I have found on the HP website.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution? Thanks
