Synaptics VFS7552 WBF Touch Fingerprint Driver
hp zbook g5 15u w\ win 11 pro 24h2
Above is the driver available for my device. I've installed it using the download and install Assistant but the driver doesn't show in device manager.  Moreover, in device manager, there is no biometrics category as the driver is classified under " Driver-Keyboard, Mouse and Input Devices" category. 
Windows Hello also returns "couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint". (This also applies to Facial Recognition)
Where could the problem be in; driver or sensor? is there any fix to it?
