System disabled code for power on

The administrator power on password was changed in the repair shop because I about to have it repaired.. When i got the item, i cannot log in since the system says invalid password. The system disabled code is ( i 51498305). Thank you very much. The repairman denied that he changed the password but he know my password.

if you do not know the password or it's not accepted for some reason,  and for any code that starts with i , you will have to contact HP Support team for assistance in removing the password. This cannot be fixed here in the forum.

Depending on the case, the motherboard might need to be replaced or the BIOS might need to be reflushed. And under certain curcumstances, this may not be covered by the PC warranty. But please, check with HP first via call. If in the USA, call 1-800-474-6836

HP policies have chancged this year. We can no longer offer crack codes for bios passwords.

You will have to contact HP Support directly for repairs.
