TO FIND THE NAME AND MODEL OF MY LAPTOP

Please all the label on my laptop is not clear again. I can't see the model number or serial number. I can only access the product ID and Device ID on the system. How do I get my laptop name and model number.

Hi:

If your notebook is operational, turn it on and immediately start tapping the ESC key.

Select the F10 setup option and press the enter key.

In the system information window the notebook's product number will appear, as should the model number.

Post the product number, and I will let you know what model number your PC is.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know.

The part you need is:  764877-001 - 15.6 INCH DISPLAY, BV WLED ST WITH BEZEL HP.

I checked the HP parts store for Canada, and you cannot buy it from HP.

So, I suggest doing a search by the part number and see if you can find it someplace else.
