Hi @Infinite_flacko,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Which exact HP model are you using?
  • Have you already checked HP Support Assistant or the HP Drivers & Downloads page for your product to see if a BIOS update has been posted?
  • Are you running Windows 11 or another operating system?

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Check Windows Update: Sometimes TPM firmware updates are delivered through Windows Update rather than directly from HP.
  2. HP Support Assistant: Open HP Support Assistant and run a full update check it can sometimes detect BIOS/firmware updates that aren’t visible on the website yet.
  3. Manual BIOS update: Visit the HP Support website, enter your product number, and check under “BIOS” or “Firmware.” If a newer version is available, download and install it carefully following the instructions.
  4. TPM Management tool: Press Windows key + R, type tpm.msc, and check the current status/version of your TPM. This helps confirm whether the update has applied or not.

I hope this helps.

Hi,

My TPM 2.0 is on but I have 3.92.0.5. For playing Call of Duty, I need to have 3.92.5.5. Please check this link from Activision website https://support.activision.com/articles/trusted-platform-module-and-secure-boot.
I have OMEN Laptop - 15-en0013dx, Serial number: 5CD0271G09 Product number: 2V926UA
My OS is Windows 11. According to this link  https://support.hp.com/ie-en/drivers/omen-15-en0000-laptop-pc-series/model/34667931?sku=2V926UA&seri...  and HP Assistant in the laptop there is no update for BIOS for Windows 11.
I need a new version of the BIOS with a new version of the TPM.
HP released some updates for several products with this problem but not for my laptop.

Hi @Infinite_flacko,

Thanks for your response.

I completely understand how frustrating it must be to see other models receive BIOS updates with newer TPM firmware while yours hasn’t yet especially when it directly impacts your ability to play a game you enjoy.

At the moment, HP hasn’t released a BIOS update for your specific product that includes the TPM 2.0 firmware revision (3.92.5.5). Since you’re already on Windows 11 and have checked HP Support Assistant and the official drivers page, you’ve covered the main steps we’d normally recommend.

Here are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try while waiting for an official BIOS release:

  • Clear TPM and Reinitialize:
Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device Security > Security processor details > Security processor troubleshooting. Use the option to Clear TPM. This will reset it and sometimes allow Windows Update to push firmware updates if available.
  • Check Windows Update (Optional Firmware):
In Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options, enable Receive updates for other Microsoft products. Occasionally, TPM firmware updates are distributed through Windows Update rather than HP directly.
  • Manual Firmware Check:
In Device Manager, expand Security Devices > Trusted Platform Module 2.0. Right-click and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for drivers. This can sometimes pull newer firmware if Microsoft has published it

    I hope this helps.

Hi @Infinite_flacko,

Thank you responding.

I appreciate your patience that you have been waiting since August for an update. This particular Model I see that the latest version is Win 10 (F.26). I will take this as a feedback and informed the relavant team to work on it. I would request you to please wait and keep an eye on the HP website for further updates.

Thanks and Regards

I will never buy any hp products. I was wating from the August to receive BIOS update. It is almost summer, no fix, nothing. Just messages from AI replies from HP thats all. What a shame!
