Hi, am looking for the correct TPM update file per the Windows Defender recommendation, this model nor any version thereof is not listed in HP Support Security Bulletin "HPSBHF03568 rev. 7 - Infineon TPM Security Update" (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05792935). I did not find assistance from other discussion threads either. Though I am computer-savvy, I am not able to decypher if my computer matches with any of the two listed Spectre models (and according to this Forum, the driver for x360 is an older version). I am sure other Spectre users are likewise confused, any one able to assist in finding the right driver? Thank you in advance, appreciated!

Hey there! @PenaFI, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you are getting TPM notifications on your PC.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any hardware or software changes on your PC?
As you mentioned that your PC is not listed in the TPM security update but you still receive notifications about TPM on your PC.
Try the steps recommended below.
You have to clear the TPM on your PC to stop receiving the notifications.
Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device security .
Under Security processor, select Security processor details.
Select Security processor troubleshooting, and then under Clear TPM, select Clear TPM.
Also, refer this third-party video link from youtube to know how to disable TPM in BIOS. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSooNBJ6QjQ
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. Try performing a push button reset on your PC and check if it helps.

Hi and many thanks for your clear instructions, MrRobot!
As I have not made any changes to the hardware nor software, I read from this that the TPM update is not needed for my laptop, despite of the Windows notification - is this correct?
With best regards and many thanks,
PenaFI

Hi and many thanks, @Riddle_Decipher,
I am glad to hear that this notification does not affect my computer. When I looked into the instructions of how to clear the TPM, it does potentially mean cleaning all the data from my machine, which I am hesitant to do, although this is my own laptop. I simply pressed "Ignore" (or similar in English) button that was located next to the update notification.
With thanks and best regards,
