@Rbm72, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding S mode switch!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

While I can provide some general troubleshooting steps related to HP devices, I recommend contacting Microsoft's support directly for specific issues related to the Microsoft Store or Windows S mode. Here are a few general suggestions you can try:

Check your Internet Connection: Make sure you have a stable internet connection, as switching out of S mode requires downloading software updates from the Microsoft Store.

Update Windows: Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date. Sometimes, pending updates can cause issues with system changes.

Sign In to Microsoft Store: Make sure you are signed in with your Microsoft account in the Microsoft Store. Sometimes, signing out and signing back in can help.

Restart Your Device: A simple restart can sometimes resolve issues by clearing temporary glitches in the system.

Reset the Microsoft Store: You can try resetting the Microsoft Store app. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find the Microsoft Store, click 'Advanced options', and then click 'Reset'.

Troubleshoot the Microsoft Store: Run the troubleshooter for the Windows Store apps. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, find 'Windows Store Apps' and run the troubleshooter.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
