Hi there,
On April 18, 2017, I brought my laptop to a computer technician for fan cleaning and thermal paste replacement for the first time, since I bought it in May of 2014. However, the computer technician refused to service my laptop, saying that as long as my laptop does not show any problems or shuts down during usage, it is alright and would not need any servicing at all. He further said that there is a risk of damaging the other components if he opened it. Although he did some tasks on my laptop using the keyboard.
Anyone could assist me in interpreting 2 computer management events of many such events that occured on 4/18/2017, as a result of the computer technician's short evaluation using the keyboard. I could not see what he was doing on the keyboard since he was facing me.

Another question I have is, If the technician overclocked my laptop, is there a way to confirm this? I run the Belarc Advisor and my laptop showed Bus Clock: 100 megahertz.
Processor a:
1.50 gigahertz Intel Pentium 987
64 kilobyte primary memory cache
256 kilobyte secondary memory cache
2048 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (2 total)
Not hyper-threaded
Thanks in advance.

There is no way to overclock the processor so that is not what has happened. It does appear there might be a hard drive error and someone tried to make changes to the HP Support Assistant configuration file. I would go into F2 diagnostics and run a full hardware test particularly on the hard drive. Tap F2 as you power on to enter diagnostics.

Hi sir,
I did as you advised. I did the diagnostics with a quick hard drive test and it came out fine. I will have more time later to do a full hard drive test.
Concerning the fan and thermal paste, since it's been 3 years since I got this notebook, should I just look for another computer technician to clean the fan and replace the thermal paste?
Again, thanks for your answer. I appreciate it.

Hi Sir,
I ran the extensive system diagnostics and also the extensive hard drive diagnostics. The results showed, "passed."
I have the Crystal Disk Info installed in my notebook to check it's temperature. It ranges from 35 C - 41 C. I do not play
computer games in it, mainly just browsing, watching dvd movies, and listening to music.
I have been looking in shops for a can of compressed air but no luck.
I think I will take your advice and bring it to another technician.
Again, thanks for your advice. I appreciate it.
