Hi @Antilonio

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If the Bluetooth functionality on your HP computer isn't working, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

1. Verify Bluetooth Settings

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer. You can check this by going to the Settings menu:

  • Click Start, then Settings.
  • Click Devices.
  • Select Bluetooth & other devices and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.

2. Install or Update Drivers

Updating or reinstalling the Bluetooth driver can often resolve connectivity issues:

Use Device Manager:

  • Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Bluetooth category, right-click the Bluetooth device, and select Update driver.
  • Follow the prompts to search for updated driver software automatically.

Download Drivers from HP Support:

3. Restart the Bluetooth Service

Sometimes, restarting the Bluetooth service can fix connectivity issues:

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type services.msc and press Enter.
  3. Scroll down and find the Bluetooth Support Service.
  4. Right-click and select Restart.
  5. Ensure the Startup Type is set to Automatic.

4. Check for Windows Updates

Ensure your Windows OS is up to date:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Click Check for updates.
  • Install any available updates and restart your computer.

5. Use HP Support Assistant

HP Support Assistant can help detect and update necessary drivers automatically:

  1. Download HP Support Assistant if it’s not preinstalled.
  2. Open HP Support Assistant and navigate to the Updates section.
  3. Check for any available updates for your Bluetooth drivers and install them.
