Hello! After reinstalling Windows, the fingerprint scanner does not work. I tried to search for software both on the HP website and on third-party sources, but most of it does not work on Windows 7 home Premium x64. Please help to solve the problem.

Hi:

 

You need the fingerprint sensor driver and the simplepass security software for W7.

Yes, I've tried it before, but the scanner never worked. When I run the first program (sp55109.exe) and allow the installation, there are several tabs and immediately closed-no further installation occurs. After searching for the decompressed files, I found " WBFDDKSetup.exe", but running it again opens several Windows, and immediately closed.1.png

The only other suggestion I can offer then, would be to try a newer version of the software...

I installed the program, but it does not work correctly. In the tab (photo attached), the password from the Windows account is requested, but after entering the password, the program says that it is incorrect.2.png

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you with that problem.
