Hello !!

First I will say, that I really know that my pc is old, verry ld, its outdated, and it would probably benefit me the most if  I just get a newer one.

But at the most I have acually not have any problem with this old friend, and she is working on, she is working fast, she do all I ask for and she doesn´t even stop to rest or freezing. Shes a fighter, HP did a good job when they make this one, I will start to just say that this computer is still going with no problems, and a lot have happend the last year at least I most say, thats why Im so proud of her 🙂

So to my issue... The graphics and to get her work smooth in Photoshop or Bridge, is not the simplest, and maybe thats a little to much to ask for.

But it have worked better then it does now, NO IT HAVE WORKED WITH NO PROBLEMS UNTILL KNOW, RESENTLY.

And i dont know if its my graphic drivers that needed update long time ago allready.

There are a message in Photoshop´s menu called prestanda/dont find the eenglish word now, but in the graphic panel, where u should activate ur graphic card/ cpu/gpu (I dont really remember) but it is gpu i think.

and it not any longer showing up there like it used to do,

It all worked out really good and smooth before window did some changes, as always messing up things, IF u have an older computer at least u can just be prepared to get som trubbles.

I dont wan´t to download any thing from anywhere before im asking here, maybe anyone here knows if I can download the graphic drivers on HP site. I think the first one thats comming up is some generall drivers thats gonna fit the most one,

And some other sites I have seen have drivers for my computers and my graphic card, but you can never really tell if thouse are safe or going to ruin your computer.

hope you understand my questions and what im asking for,

why photoshot does not recognize my gpu any more, UNKNOWN it says and I cant fill in the square to use gpu accelerator Ithink it say.....

I cross my fingers and hope anyone here understand my not so smooth english, so i can find out what to do...

Now my fan is so loud even if im jjust are in the HP helping-assistent-thing. And it was not even running that way in photoshop or bridge before some updates happen.

Is there anyone that knows what to download or what I can do to calm her down again, this hapen from a day to another. But what, im not sure, when im looking if there is any new updates that i need to make, it says that drivers working good, and nothing i need to do.

One thing more, I was looking how much of my disc that is running, and it says VRAM 0% its not even moving to 0%

I have just one ram inside now and its 4gb, i should have 2x4 to get the best results i know, but it is what it is, and why my pc not even tuch it? its like its turned off, (or how to explain it) And i should say also that im not running ut of space, but as I understand u will make ure computer using VRAM first as working memory but im not sure how to make that work, does it matter of thoes to spaces in side my computer, where my ram is attached, wher im putting the only one I have, does that matter? Should it make any differens if its attaches to the other "slot" (space) ?

Im so grateful if you had energi enough to read all my message. I hope u have any advise fore me.

Or something i can try to make my old lady work as she did befor this thing happend.

thank you for taking your time. Wish you all the best.👩‍💻🙏
