Note book 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 My hp note book 15 pc has first started of these couple of days stuck with a cpu speed of 0.5 GHz while its maximum speed is 2.16GHz. I have tried between all the power options and even on high performance mode the speed is still between 0.47-0.5 GHz. There is a noticeable audio breaking while playing videos and programs lag tremendously while running.

So what might be the problem, my hp never had this problem till this couple of days.

In the task manager under performance tab I have seen that the visualization feature is disabled  if it is of any relevance.

@Tinsae
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

To get the answer to this question, the cpu speed is system managed.

As you've mentioned about "noticeable audio breaking while playing videos and programs lag tremendously while running

  • Are you referring to online games?
  • Have you tried updating the system graphic card drivers?

Keep me posted for further assistance.
