Whenever I turn on my device, it boots alright to the stage where I am required to input my pin to login. At this stage, it becomes impossible to enter a pin from the keyboard. I used to bypass this stage by accessing the onscreen keyboard, and typing my pin from there. However, I stopped using the laptop for over a year. I picked up activity on the laptop just about a week ago and the keyboard works just fine until last night when I connected the device to the internet to run diagnostics and security updates. No updates were available, so nothing to update. This morning, I found the keyboard issue reactivated. After troubleshooting, I found the two (2) "ctrl" keys on the keyboard taking repeated intermittent strokes at a really fast paced interval between each hit. Both keys take hits at the same time. Such that no other keys functions normally.

How can I resolve this issue, please?
